Humane Treatment of Animals // Senior Project

I have designed this project to incorporate a variety of activities to do with the humane treatment of animals. All of the activities that are involved in the project are described below.

Website
Many people now get online to find information, so I thought building a website would be a great way to reach people in my community. This website was created to educate others of how to treat animals humanely, how to report animal cruelty, and the issues affecting companion animals.

School Showcase
Besides making a website to promote the humane treatment of animals I have also decided to take part in the St. Ignatius School Schowcase. At the showcase I set up a table and handed out leaflets and information concerning animal abuse, spaying and neutering, and various other topics.

Be Kind To Animals Week
Be Kind to Animals Week (BKAW) was created in 1915 by American Humane, to increase awareness of the humane treatment of animals. This year BKAW was held during May 2nd to May 8th. For my part in BKAW I set up a donation box in the St. Ignatius High School office and collected donations to send the Mission Valley Animal Shelter.
